BRAVO Community Service Awards at Taylor Mansion
Guess Who's Coming To Dinner 2005

The annual BRAVO (Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization) Community Service Awards were presented on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at Taylor Mansion, 1400 East Broad St. The 4th annual fund-raising event, entitled Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, featured live entertainment and a silent and live auction as a prelude to an evening of fine dining at premier homes.

This year's honorees are Sherrill Howard, president of the Lesbian Business Association and Vivi Velure, spokesmodel for BRAVO. Both local activists were honored for their commitment to raising awareness and visibility for the Central Ohio LGBT community.

Sherrill Howard has served as president of LBA for several years and is best known for her leadership in the production of the Ohio Lesbian Festival each September.

Vivi Velure’s service as spokesmodel for BRAVO’s Violence is a Drag outreach campaign has brought awareness to thousands of people about the many services BRAVO has to offer.
