Visit the SNBA at www.shortnorth.org

On January 21, 2005, a bevy of friends armed with food and champagne gathered at r design & printing co. to wish Mary Martineau bon voyage as she steps down from her position as executive director of the Short North Business Association. Mary accomplished many things since she began her directorship nearly four years ago, including instituting Via Colori, the street painting festival held in September of 2003 and 2004. Mary will join the Economic Community Development Institute. “I’ll be working as a retail coach helping new businesses in the downtown area.” Everyone in attendance, while sad to see Mary go, feels the move is a great one. “If anyone can bring business into downtown, it’s Mary.” said Juli Rogers of r design and printing.
